The Country Farmer in North Salem, NY is a local garden center and farmers market 7 days a week. Our love of plants, foods, animals and fun keep us busy from the end of march thru December 24th.

SPRING is a reawakening for The Country Farmer. Organic seeds and plants for your garden, Easter & Mothers day baskets for your loved ones, and local honey for your allergies are some of our offerings. . .

We are known for our corn in the SUMMER as the warmer weather adds local vegetables to our plants and gifts. Think juicy strawberries and tomatoes with f.l.a.v.o.r ! Fresh breads, organic, local beef, homemade soups and sweets are always an easy meal. Just don’t forget the Ronnybrook ice cream!

FALL in love with your perfect funkey pumpkin. Blues, warted, white, one too manys – we’ve carried these decorative and edible creations of nature for years. Add your favorite fall plant, pick up some pears and apples…a bit of cheese…a chocolate truffle or 2. . . .who knows where this might lead ?

Pies are stacked high for the Thanksgiving rush and then the HOLIDAY SEASON brings our beautiful North Carolina fraiser fir trees to The Country Farmer. Custom wreaths are a specialty (you might as well hang what you want on your door), indoor plants, gifts and, as always, delivery and service with a smile!
